However, Outlook 2016 for Mac looks for a file that is named osfcore.framework and cannot find the file inside the app bundle. To work around this problem, rename the OsfCore.framework file as osfcore.framework. To do this, follow these steps: In Finder, open the Application folder. The Webex desktop app (Productivity Tools) cannot recognize the meeting on Mac Outlook 16.23+ for O365 users; the ribbon still displays the 'Add Webex Meeting' icon after editing an existing meeting.
- I use Outlook 2016 for Mac and I created a meeting and added WebEx info using the integrated productivity tools. I am attempting to remove the WebEx from the meeting, as we don't actually use it for the meeting. Every time I do this, it says that it's communicating with the WebEx server and will just sit there spinning for as long as I'll let it.
- Dec 09, 2019 Webex Productivity Tools has two separate packages for WBS39.10 and later versions. Productivity Tools supports integrations with other applications, such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Microsoft Skype for Business, Microsoft Lync, Internet Explorer, and IBM Lotus Notes. To make joining and creating Webex meetings easier, you can install Webex Productivity Tools on your Mac.
Unsupported due to code change. A solution to fix this became available March 20, 2019.
Issue: Webex Meeting icon no longer works in Outlook on the Mac version 16.23 and higher.
You do need to delete from the Mac the old Webex Meeting application. Go to Finder, type in Application find Webex folder and click on uninstall Webex Meetings. Click restart when that is done then go download Webex Meetings application from .. (we are working on getting this download on our installation directions).
Select Webex Meeting and follow the installation steps.
When you get prompted to add your primary email, do so and follow the login prompts.
